Through using science based nutrition and exercise principles/philosophies, Chris helps people of all ages with various weight loss/gain and fitness goals. Not only is he known to help people get healthy physically, but he provides guidance for an overall positive lifestyle – inside and outside of the gym.
As a professional trainer with 16 years of experience in the fitness industry, Chris works with clients 1-1, instructs kettle bells classes as well as online consulting/coaching. He manages trainers to instill that they have the most up-to-date skills. His clients have various fitness goals and range in age between 16 to 82. His uncanny ability to be compassionate with his clients sets Chris apart. Having a stern, but fair approach yields amazing results.
His knowledge to instruct his clients on weight lifting, exercise techniques and nutrition continues outside the walls of the gym. Chris believes that positive health is not just a habit, but part of daily life. He helps clients find a balance with their personal, work, family and fitness life. Whether in person or from a distance, he often checks in with his local clients by phone, text or email to help them stay on track. Out-of-state clients are also assisted by email or online capacity.
Chris often implements positive lifestyle changes into each of his training sessions in order for his clients to achieve and maintain lifelong fitness success. His areas of expertise include nutrition, exercise, and overall health and well-being.
He has the academia background required to help clients improve their health, which includes nutrition programs and weight loss and maintenance.
Chris is a Certified Personal Trainer (AFAA) and a member of the American Fitness Aerobics Association (AFAA). He is an International Kettlebell Fitness Foundation Certified Instructor (IKFF) and a Certified Sports Nutrition Specialist through the International Society of Sports Nutrition. Additionally, Chris is a member of the International Society of Sports Nutrition and a Professional Member of the National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA).
Patrick Ciera is an expert in the development and application of custom fitness plans to optimize health and performance.
His work harnesses strength and endurance based training approaches, to help unprecedented positive results and accelerate and raise both mental and physical performance. As well as to improve the health for people suffering from various chronic illnesses and ailments preventing them from living a fulfilling life.
Patrick is himself an accomplished athlete.
On top of being a D1 athlete(football), and frequenting the podium at many power lifting meets, He completed 2 marathons ( Chicago and New York men’s health Urbanathlons).
Patrick’s training programs by many of athletes and people ranging from beginners, to college athletes to elite powerlifters and record holders.
Currently, Patrick is a personal trainer with us, and is focused on the optimization of human performance, a stronger community, a better life through fitness, and the delivery of science based protocols to optimize physical, emotional and cognitive performance for health.
Paul has worked in a coaching/trainer capacity for the last 18 years. Understanding the connection between regimen, flexibility, sustainability, and enjoying the process has helped him work with children and adults in their own quests for improvement.
Paul has competed in a variety of sports himself, including martial arts (top 3 finishes in all tournaments competed in), bodybuilding (first place in weight class and overall win), powerlifting (various State, American, and World records across 5 weight classes), and obstacle course racing.
Paul has also trained athletes in various school sports, and had athletes in bodybuilding and powerlifting with many top 3 finishes as well.
His focus is not just in athletes, however. He has had a wide range of clients over the years, male and female, ranging in age up to 70, with achievements including better overall heart health, increasing range of motion and flexibility, in some cases coming off of prescription medication, and weight loss as much as 100+ pounds.
Just as every client has different goals, Paul tailors every program to an individuals needs and schedule, ensuring sustainability over time.
