Meet Chris Tybor

Christopher R. Tybor has a proven track record of helping clients with long-term fitness and weight loss success. Through using science based nutrition and exercise principles/philosophies, Chris helps people of all ages with various weight loss/gain and fitness goals. Not only is he known to help people get healthy physically, but he provides guidance for an overall positive lifestyle – inside and outside of the gym.

As a professional trainer with 16 years of experience in the fitness industry, Chris works with clients 1-1, instructs kettle bells classes as well as online consulting/coaching. He manages trainers to instill that they have the most up-to-date skills. His clients have various fitness goals and range in age between 16 to 82. His uncanny ability to be compassionate with his clients sets Chris apart. Having a stern, but fair approach yields amazing results.

Those thinking about or who have struggled with weight loss may wonder about “real world application.” While improving the quality of life for hundreds of clients at ChrisFit Personal Training, Chris has numerous 20-, 30-, 40- and 75-pound weight loss clients who have met their goals. Over the years, he has helped 5 clients achieve 100+ pounds of weight loss.

His knowledge to instruct his clients on weight lifting, exercise techniques and nutrition continues outside the walls of the gym. Chris believes that positive health is not just a habit, but part of daily life. He helps clients find a balance with their personal, work, family and fitness life. Whether in person or from a distance, he often checks in with his local clients by phone, text or email to help them stay on track. Out-of-state clients are also assisted by email or online capacity.

Chris often implements positive lifestyle changes into each of his training sessions in order for his clients to achieve and maintain lifelong fitness success. His areas of expertise include nutrition, exercise, and overall health and well-being.

He has the academia background required to help clients improve their health, which includes nutrition programs and weight loss and maintenance.

Chris is as an adjunct nutrition teacher at Niagara County Community College (NCCC) as well as serving on the NCCC advisory board for the betterment of their personal training certification program.

His experience includes an internship at the University at Buffalo working with collegiate athletes. He worked closely with the finest instructors as a strength and conditioning coach, which allowed him to train athletes participating in numerous sports.

Chris is a Certified Personal Trainer (AFAA)
and a member of the American Fitness Aerobics Association (AFAA). He is an International Kettlebell Fitness Foundation Certified Instructor (IKFF) and a Certified Sports Nutritionist through the International Society of Sports Nutrition. Additionally, Chris is a member of the International Society of Sports Nutrition and a Professional Member of the National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA).

In 2010 he opened ChristFit, a premier weight, health and wellness center in Niagara Falls, NY. It is home to 5 nationally certified personal trainers/coaches and more than 400 clients. 

Chris has been instrumental to implement nutrition programs at both gym facilities. Nutrition and cooking experts provide classes and workshops to clients on a monthly/quarterly basis.

In addition to his fitness training, Chris provides health and wellness expertise in a bi-monthly column in the Niagara Gazette newspaper. In order to stay updated on heath and fitness trends and to gain new skills, Chris continues his own education through various seminars.
